We require a General Manager at our Vauxhall dealership in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Salary & Benefits:

£70,000 + OTE Plus Car & Pension

Type of Role:

The position of General Manager in Leeds is a full time permanent role working to the hours required of the business.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

·         Fully responsible for the P & L of the dealership

·         Responsible for recruitment, training, coaching and development of all staff

·         Complete and return reports on time

·         Building manufacturer relationships

·         Building and motivating a strong team

·         Management of the sales team and sales processes

·         Management and control of profit margins

·         Management and control of stock pricing and presentation

·         To maximise the sales and profitability of vehicles and associated products

·         To monitor and achieve KPI targets

·         Maintain a strong relationship with the manufacturer

·         Ensure that all staff deliver a professional customer service at all times

Experience & Requirements:

It is essential that you have previous Motor Trade experience as a General Manager or Dealer Principal and that you hold a full valid UK driving licence. It is also essential that you have managed both new and used car sales. You must also be able to demonstrate strong management of processes, people and vehicle stock with experience of a very large, busy volume site.

The ideal candidate will have evidence of a steady and progressive career path, a proven track record of achieving sales targets and objectives, be able to demonstrate robust and professional people management skills and be highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads.
